Business systems, professional websites, and practical AI workflows that save you time and win you customers. All explained in plain English, with no jargon or agency runaround.
Subscription software comes with bloat and constraints, and your business ends up creating endless workarounds. Building your own software has never been more affordable, and it pays back in work that runs itself and customers who find you.
A simple example of an AI order intake workflow. Let's say you're a small wholesaler with a three-person order desk, and your purchase orders arrive by email every day.
Step 1: Today
60
emailed orders a day
3 people on the order desk, manually entering about 20 orders each into your ERP
Step 2: Typed by hand
6 h
a day, retyping emails into orders
About 6 minutes each: read the email, find the customer and products, key in the lines
Step 3: With AI intake
1.5 h
a day, checking and approving
AI can read the email instead and stage each order for a person to check and approve in about 90 seconds
Step 4: Given back
4.5 h
a day, back to the business
About 1,100 hours a year, or $34,000 at $30 an hour
A workflow like this costs about $4,000 to build and around $30 a month to run. It pays for itself in about 7 weeks, then keeps giving back roughly $34,000 a year, every year, in time the order desk spends on customers instead of retyping.
An illustration, not a quote. Your numbers depend on your volumes and wages; the free consultation works them out for your business.
Three ways we help your business: business systems that keep things running behind the scenes, websites that help customers find and contact you, and AI workflows that take on repetitive work.
Everything we build is custom-coded for your business, never a template.

Forest City Supply Co. is a fictional London wholesaler running on a real system we built: orders, inventory, invoicing, and live reports. Sign in and click anything. This is what custom software feels like when it is shaped around how a business actually runs, and just what it needs.
Send the demo a purchase order by email: a PDF, a spreadsheet, or a few plain lines. AI reads it, matches it to the catalog, and stages a draft order for your approval. This demo works with live emails sent from your own inbox.
The reading is done by Claude, the AI model made by Anthropic.

ApproveQuiet Elm Psychotherapy is a fictional therapist in London, Ontario, with a real single-page website: custom code, a contact form, a booking link, and search setup, paid for once. Every section is something a small practice needs, and nothing it does not.

A clear, collaborative process, from your first message to full handover.
One quick chat about your goal is all it takes; no workshops, no endless meetings. Within a few days you have a fixed quote with milestones and a simple agreement. The chat and the proposal are free, and nothing starts until you approve the plan.
Before anything is built, your domain, hosting, and other accounts are set up in your business's name, by you or by me for you, and I build inside them. Everything is yours from day one, with nothing to transfer later.
I build in stages, with reviews at agreed milestones, so there are no surprises. You follow along in your own project page: every update, document, and invoice, as it happens.
You review the completed build, and I make any final refinements before launch.
If you'd like, I train your team, and then we go live together.
I hand you the keys to everything we build: your code, your systems, and every account, with full ownership and nothing held back. After handover, I stay available if you need any changes or new work later.

No required monthly retainer and no lock-in. You own everything we build together in your own accounts.
Here is what typical projects cost, with the running costs after launch included.

Our specialty
Replace the spreadsheets: quoting, scheduling, inventory, invoicing, or customer records, one area at a time.

Brings in work
Built to bring in work: show what you do, collect enquiries, and earn trust before the first call.

Pays for itself fastest
Win back the hours lost to repetitive admin, with a person approving every step before it goes out.
Free consultation and proposal. No risk to see what's possible.
Fixed before we start. Your quote stays put unless you decide to add more.
We do even smaller sites too. A one-page website starts around $1,000.

My name is Robert. When you email, plan a project, or see the work get built, I'm the person doing it. No account managers, hand-offs, sales teams or mystery developers.
You don't need to speak tech to work with me. We talk about your goals in plain English, and I take care of the technical side, from first plan to handover.
These are from my eight years with CSC LED, where I led the development of their custom ERP and B2B e-commerce website. They come from the people who hired me, and from the colleagues who relied on what we built every day.

The consultation and the solution proposal are always free. If I can't find you a real way to save time or money, you don't pay a cent.

Not at all, and it is the most common way projects start. You tell me what is slow, frustrating, or eating your time, and I will suggest what would actually help. Sometimes that is a website, sometimes it is a small system, and sometimes the honest answer is that you do not need to build anything yet.
Nothing, until you decide to build. The consultation and the solution proposal are always free: if I can't find you a real way to save time or money, you don't pay a cent.
When you do build, you get a fixed quote before any work begins, broken into milestones so you can see what you are getting and when. Nothing starts until you approve that quote.
Payment is simple, for each module we build: half to start, and half when it is delivered. No hourly billing that creeps, and no surprise invoice at the end.
It depends on what we are building. A straightforward website usually takes two to four weeks. A business system with things like inventory, invoicing, and reporting takes longer, one to two months, because there is more to get right.
An AI workflow, like the order intake demo, usually lands in between at two to five weeks, because it plugs into the tools you already use.
Either way, your quote includes a milestone schedule, so you see the dates before you agree to anything.
Yes. Everything I build for you is yours once it is paid for: your code, your systems, and your accounts, all in your name. Any reusable tools of mine inside it come with a permanent licence, so you, or any developer you hire, can run and change them without me.
If you ever want to bring in someone else, everything goes with you. There is nothing to unlock, transfer, or buy back.
No. You choose. I can open every account in your business's name under a new email address just for your website or system, build inside them, and hand that address to you at launch on a short call of about 15 minutes. Or, if you prefer, you open the accounts yourself, from a step-by-step guide I send or on a call with me, and add my login.
Either way, the accounts are yours from day one, and I confirm in writing when my access has ended.
Yes. If you would like one, I will sign a mutual NDA before you show me anything. It is short, written in plain language, and protects both of us equally. Just ask, and I will send it the same day.
There is no required monthly retainer. What every website or system does have is small running costs, like your domain name and hosting, and those are paid directly to those providers in your own accounts, so you can see exactly what they cost.
Each service page lists what those typically come to, alongside the build cost: websites, business systems, and AI workflows.
If you would like me available for ongoing changes, we can arrange that. It is never a condition of working together.
Get in touch and we will sort it out. I stay available after handover, whether that is a small tweak, a new feature, or a whole new project. Anything substantial gets its own fixed quote first, so you always know the cost before I start.
Tell me and I will look at it. If it turns out to be a fault in something I built, I fix it, and that is not billable work.
No. We talk about your business in plain English: what you want to happen, what is slowing you down, and what a good outcome looks like. I handle the technical decisions, and where one genuinely affects you, I explain it in normal words so you can make the call.
Often, yes. Sometimes the right move is improving what you already have, and sometimes it is faster and cheaper to rebuild. I will tell you honestly which one I think applies to your situation.
If the system is substantial, or was built by someone else or with AI tools, the safest first step is a technical audit. I read the code and test how it behaves, without changing anything. You get a written report in plain English: what you actually have, what is solid, what is fragile, and what to keep, fix, or replace, with the effort each would take.
An audit is a fixed price, agreed before I start, and the report is yours to hand to any developer, including one who is not me.
I am in London, Ontario, and I work with businesses here and across North America. Most projects run comfortably over email and video calls. If you are local and would rather sit down together, that is easy to arrange.
Still wondering about something? Ask me directly and I'll reply within one business day.
