Your customers email their orders. Someone on your desk types them in by hand.
I build an AI workflow that reads each purchase order, matches every line to your catalogue, and stages it as a draft order for one-click approval. Your people keep the decisions; the AI does the typing.
About 30 seconds. No sign-in, nothing to install.
Watch an order go from email to draft
A contractor's PO for wire, boxes, breakers, and LED fixtures, read and matched the way it would be on your own catalogue. It plays on its own; tap any step to jump to it.
Step 1: An email with a PDF attached lands in the orders inbox.

Waiting for the AI
The email and its PDF are queued for reading.
A replay of the sample system's intake screen. Nothing here is sent or saved.
Built for the way orders actually arrive
PDFs, spreadsheets, and plain emails
In each customer's own format. A formal PO, a spreadsheet they fill in, or three lines typed into an email.
Unclear lines are flagged, not guessed
A fixture that could be one of two, or an item with no catalogue number, is marked for a person to decide.
Nothing reaches your system until a person approves it
Every order waits as a draft. One click confirms it; one click sends it back.
Connects to the system you already use
Where that system allows it, the approved order lands there directly. Where it does not, it lands as a clean, ready-to-enter draft.
Put your own numbers in
Start from a typical order desk and change anything. The result updates as you type.
Typed by hand
15 h
a week on the order desk
With AI intake
3.8 h
a week checking and approving
Given back
11.3 h
a week, back to the business
About $16,900 a year
Roughly 563 hours a year given back. A workflow like this costs about $4,000 to build and around $30 a month to run, so it pays for itself in about 13 weeks.
An illustration, not a quote. The AI leaves about 1.5 minutes of checking per order; the free consultation works the numbers out for your business.
Three steps, and you review it before it goes live
Most first workflows land in 2 to 5 weeks, with the results checked and tuned before anything goes live.
- 1
We map your order process together
One call. How orders arrive today, who handles them, what your system needs on each one, and what should be flagged for a person.
- 2
We build the workflow
The reading, the catalogue matching, the approval screen, and the connection to your system, tested on your own real orders.
- 3
You review it before it goes live
Your order desk runs it beside the old way until they trust it. Then it takes over the typing.

What a first workflow costs
Most first workflows land between $1,500 and $4,000 CAD.
How the price works
- A fixed quote before any work starts, paid half to start and half on delivery.
- The consultation and the solution proposal are always free. If I can't find you a real way to save time or money, you don't pay a cent.
- The saving compounds: a few minutes saved on a task, every day, adds up fast. A task that eats 5 hours a week costs your business over 250 hours a year, so most workflows pay for themselves within months.
- That price covers one complete workflow: the AI, the connections to your tools, and the approval dashboard. The dashboard is built once, so later workflows reuse it and cost less.
- Every account in your name. Hosting, the AI provider, and email are opened in your name, on your card, and you own all of it.
What it costs to keep running
- AI usage
- $5 to $50 a month
- You pay the AI provider only for what your workflows actually process, from your own account. A typical email or document costs around a cent, often less.
- Hosting and dashboard
- $0 to $10 a month
- Where the workflow and its approval dashboard live: a global hosting network with a generous free tier, so at this size hosting is often free.
- Email delivery
- Usually free
- Notifications from your workflow, like a heads-up that drafts are waiting, sent through a trusted delivery service so they reach inboxes reliably. The free tier covers 3,000 messages a month.
Everything is paid directly to the providers, in accounts that belong to you, and none of it comes to me. Most workflows run for under $30 a month, and there is no required retainer.

I spent eight years as the IT manager at a commercial lighting manufacturer, where I designed and built the ERP the business runs on. Purchase orders arrived by email all day: PDFs from the big contractors, spreadsheets from property managers, and plenty of orders typed into the message itself.
Someone on the order desk read every one of them and typed it in by hand. It was the slowest part of the day, the easiest place to make an expensive mistake, and the first thing I would automate if I were starting again.
That is what this workflow does. It does the reading and the typing; your people keep the decisions. If your orders arrive the way ours did, I would be glad to show you how it would work on yours.

Send it one of your own orders
The full demo gives you a private sandbox with its own email address. Forward a real purchase order to it, a PDF, a spreadsheet, or a few lines, and watch the draft appear. Nothing you send is visible to anyone else, and the sandbox clears itself after 48 hours.
A free consultation, then a fixed quote
Twenty minutes on how your orders arrive today. If I can see a real saving, you get a fixed quote; if I cannot, you have lost nothing but the call.
