Who am I?
I am a software developer and technology leader from London, Ontario. For over a decade I have improved business operations by finding the friction in how work actually gets done and building systems people rely on. Most recently that meant eight years with CSC LED, a nationwide wholesale LED distributor, where I led the technology behind the business and wrote much of it myself: a custom ERP, a B2B e-commerce platform, company-wide IT, and the development team that kept it all moving.
Before that came DataCove: five years of freelance building under my own banner, much like OurModule today, delivering web applications, databases, reporting tools, and automation for clients across Canada, the United States, and Europe. That path gave me a broad operating range: I can sit with accounting, the warehouse, marketing, sales, or leadership, understand what needs to happen, and turn it into working software.

CSC LED Corp.
2018 to 2026Information Technology Manager
Led technology for a fast-growing nationwide wholesale LED distributor: the custom ERP, the B2B e-commerce platform, IT operations, security, and the development team. First engaged as a contractor in 2018, full-time from 2019.
- Grew the company's ERP from an inventory application into the system the whole business ran on: orders, inventory, purchasing, customers, invoicing, and reporting, synchronized with QuickBooks and connected to customers and partners through live APIs.
- Led the complete redevelopment of the B2B e-commerce platform in React, and rolled out warehouse barcode scanning across three distribution centres.
- Built and led a distributed development team across Canada and India with zero turnover in six years, then extended my departure by three months to document everything and hand over cleanly.
DataCove
2015 to 2019Founder & Developer
The first version of what OurModule is today: freelance builds delivered end to end, growing to lead other developers on the larger projects.
- Handled every project end to end: first conversation, scope, build, deployment, documentation, training, and support.
- Built a franchise-wide ERP for a US client and twice presented it at their annual franchisee gathering in California.
- Ran the business itself: proposals, projects, accounting, and client relationships. I know what it is to be a small business, because I have been one.

2012 to 2015Clinical Research & Data Management
Supported global clinical trials for a Toronto pharmaceutical company: trial databases, data management, and regulatory compliance.
- Designed and maintained Oracle Clinical trial databases, using SQL to validate and troubleshoot study data.
- Where the habits that still shape my work were formed: data quality, documentation, and process discipline in a fully regulated environment.
